OVERVIEW
Conflict can arise between co-founders, among your employees and teammates, in professional relationships, and in your personal life, which could seep into your day-to-day career. Anticipating, identifying, managing, and resolving conflict is a
key skill for any leader. My roadmap to confronting conflict is borne out of the need to bring capacity to my clients and their companies, so that everyone involved is able to overcome these disputes and realize their fullest potential.
OBJECTIVE
OVERVIEW
Learning how to say what you mean in order to deliver great results and empower others takes serious consideration and contemplation. To learn how to hear what's truly being said by your colleagues, friends, and family takes on another layer of complexity. By boosting your interpersonal skills and emotional
intelligence for both informal and formal dialogues, I will help you make gains in those conversational areas you want to develop and sharpen.
OBJECTIVE
OVERVIEW
We all know public speaking is a human activity that can elevate stress. The first step to a great speech or presentation is to understand how to overcome the fears and anxiety that can debilitate this process. We will work on what those trigger and stress points are through these sessions, so you can deliver a speech your audience will remember.
OBJECTIVE
OVERVIEW
I hope to activate better problem solving through the lens of decision-making, good judgment, and viewing one's problems at different angles and perspectives before rendering it in a more comprehensive manner. This work relies heavily on identifying personal/team strengths and weaknesses in order to positively impact the small and large decisions one faces in running or managing employees.
OBJECTIVE
I'm Matthew LeBauer and for the past eight years, I've been a psychotherapist in private practice in Denver, Colorado. My training began with helping clients achieve insight around the reasons for their conflicts and using this insight to build coping skills. From there, my work became focused on communication and conflict resolution. These days, my practice focuses on attachment in adult relationships.
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, I know first-hand the quality of life, the community impact, and the smart, ambitious goals that one can achieve with an entrepreneurial spirit. So, as a natural expansion of my work in psychotherapy, | founded LeBauer Strategies six years ago to allow me to work more closely with small business owners and start-up founders, empowering a range of
entrepreneurs in industries such as Finance, App Development, Business Development, and Marketing. These folks have an above-average resiliency and
grit, and I get energized to do my best work with people who are ready to overcome their own inertia and put elbow grease into re-aligning their efforts.
I'm here to focus your energies and identify ways for you and your team to become better, more empathetic, and more imaginative leaders.
My practice is shaped by a feminist, social justice, anti-patriarchal lens. I strive to own and use my personal privilege in my work to fight racism, misogyny, anti-LGBTQ* and anti-Semitic violence. And, as a regional board member of the Anti-Defamation League, I work to secure justice and fair treatment for all.
Personally, I have been committed to doing my own work in therapy for more than a decade. My work brings me to life, but when I am away from it, I find fulfillment in travel, nature, reading fiction, and dancing to Motown music.
During Clinical Consultation, I will help you lay all the puzzle pieces out on the table, step back to regain perspective, and help you think through your case in ways you may not have considered. I will help you own your role in the progress you've found so far. We will explore how counter transference arises and what impact it has in your work. You will be pushed to reflect on how you are showing up and how you can capitalize on it in service to your clients. I will help you get centered and embrace your strengths to put them to work.
It's important to note that Clinical Consultation is not Clinical Supervision. I am happy to collaborate with you and your supervisor. I can also help you find a supervisor that fits well with your theoretical framework, style and needs
